Giant Sequoia

Giant Sequoia trees are among the tallest, widest, and longest lived of all trees in the world.  They are only found in scattered groves in the Sierria Nevada mountains of California.  The General Sherman tree, estimated at 2300 years old, is the largest single stem tree in the world, 277 feet tall with a girth of 102 feet.
The “Giant Sequoia” painting was selected by a national panel of judges as one of the “top 100″ paintings in the National Paint America contest.
