Sandy Mural Project 2011

On October 4th, the Sandy Oregon City Council Selected Lee lauritzen to paint a Centennial mural for the city.  The 12 foot by 60 foot mural will be located on the back of the Mountain Moka/Pet Resort building.  The mural will become part of the mew plaza west of the History Museum.

Lee was selected from 13 applicants.  The mural will be painted on aluminum composite panels this winter.  The panels will be secured to the cinder block wall in April 2011.  Unvailing of the mural will be at the May 2011 celebration of the city’s centennial incorporation.
